Also, you can now use your already existing Facebook account to access all the features of fmx that require a login. Easy. MySpace is currently being worked in also for all you bands that already have a MySpace.

The FMXstudio pStore applications for MySpace and Facebook are currently under construction. As soon as they are approved by their respective sites, you will know.

If you haven't already noticed, or didn't know in the first place, FMXstudio has recently had an overhaul. As the first design was only "decent" another had to be conceived. Hopefully all our users enjoy the new interface more than the last one.

I am very proud of my work on this new design. I ask that all of the current bands continue to spread to word about FMXstudio.

The Portable Store (pStore) has been upgraded so that you may post songs on an external page (ie MySpace) and allow viewers there to buy those songs. As of now, only 9 songs will appear in your pStore. But that shouldn't be a problem taken there's only 4 songs on the site. Later, an improved pStore will make it's debut.

It seems as though some of you are having trouble uploading music. This article aims to help you through the process.

First off, all the songs you upload MUST BE .mp3 FILES. This is so the player can play them and the downloader can download them. Second, the album thumbnail MUST BE .jpg, .png, OR .gif FILES. Be it known if there is transparency in your .png file, it will not display correctly in Internet Explorer 6.

To Upload Music to a New Album

1. Enter the name of the album in the album information section.
2. The description and thumbnail fields are optional. If no description is entered, then no description appears in your store. If no thumbnail is entered, it defaults to the FMX avatar.
3. Enter ALL the information for the songs you wish to upload. All those fields are required.
4. If you wish to upload more than one song, press "Add One Row". If you have too many fields, press "Subtract One Row" (note that you don't need to have the exact number of rows, you just need to fill in consecutive rows. You can't skip any).
5. Once this is done, click "Upload".

If you've followed all the steps correctly, you should have uploaded music to a new album. If any errors occurred, please tell me immediately. You can contact me via the PMing system, fmxstudio@gmail.com, daledombrowski@comcast.net, or hehedohboy on AIM.

To Upload Music to a Existing Album
If you put in information for an album but didn't upload any music to it, this is what you want to do.

1. Enter the name of the album you wish to add music to in the album information section. Make sure it matches EXACTLY the name of the existing album.
2. DO NOT enter in a description or thumbnail. To edit these two things, use the controls on the Albums and Tracks page of your Band CP.
3. Follow the above steps for entering song information.
